BII-1040 Series    Low Noise Wideband Preamplifier

The BII-1040 series is unique in providing very low voltage noise density and very low current noise density, which provides optimum noise performance to high impedance hydrophones and piezoelectric ultrasonic receivers. Its low power consumption supports long battery life in field.

How to calculate self-noise voltage level of BII-1040 series:
Output Self-Noise Voltage Level = Gain * square root[∫(Total Input Noise Density*Total Input Noise Density)df].  f: frequency in Hz

Technical notes
The cable has adverse effects on the signal quality in high frequency range. The longer the cable is, the worse the adverse effects is. If you use long cable in your project, you may specify customized output impedance of BII's preamplifiers to match cable impedance and the DAQ input impedance.
