BII-7200 Bandpass Hydrophone (6kHz to 2MHz)

BII-7200 hydrophones are band pass receivers which feature broadband and customization on beamwidth and operating frequency, and offer flexible, custom-made and low cost solutions to special transducer demanding in underwater acoustics. This makes BII-7200s be the best for use in noise rejection and communication where complex waveforms with higher harmonics must be transformed with low distortion.

Impedance of BII-7200s is resistance at resonant frequency, which makes possible the impedance matching between BII-7200 and the signal conditioning circuit. With impedance matching, the energy being reflected from the hydrophone/receiver face is minimized. The minimum of reflected energy is useful and critical in certain ultrasonic applications.

Optional mounting parts are available for installation on portable-mounting apparatus, submersibles, pipe, tank or vessel.
