BII-7750 Measurement Transducer - Hydrophone Calibration

BII-7750 series measurement transducers are circular piston transducers which generate uniform plane-wave near-fields along the acoustic axis in a specific low frequency range, and are reciprocal in audio and ultrasonic frequency range.

With BII-7750's uniform near-field, hydrophones' sensitivity can be calibrated quickly in field, and hydrophone calibration can be carried out in a much smaller body of water comparing to conventional far-filed measurement.

BII-7750 series can be used as standard projectors to calibrate hydrophones or as unknown projectors to support comparison calibration of hydrophones in near-field or far field.

Optional mounting parts are available for installation on portable-mounting apparatus, submersibles, pipe, tank or vessel.
