BII-8060    Underwater Transponders

BII-8065 and BII-8066 are 25 to 40kHz broadband acoustic transmitters for use in communication, beaconing (transponders), pilot sound source and artificial acoustic target. These components are ready for you to implement underwater communication and develop the unique and proprietary pingers and transponders.

Beacons Additional Devices, not included in BII-8060 series. Features
BII-8065 DC power supply, signal generator, DAQ system. flexible, reusable and reconfigurable transponders.
BII-8066 DC power supply, DAQ system. customized transponders, customized BII-4000 embedded inside.

BII-8060 Troubleshooting
Issue No Sound Generation
Possible Reasons 1. Shut-down wire is short to common, shield or digital low.
2. After shutting down, shut-down wire is not away/off common fast enough. or, rise edge from digital low to high is not sharp enough.
Solutions Connect shut-down wire to common, then move away as fast as possible, or improve the rise edge of digital low to high.
